About Oliver P. ShindlerAssociate Attorney

Oliver P. Shindler is an associate attorney at Lane Brown, LLC, a plaintiff’s personal injury firm. He specializes in defending seriously injured victims of negligence and sexual abuse.

Oliver graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law with his Juris Doctor in 2022. On his path to graduating cum laude, he was a four-time Dean’s Scholarship recipient and Dean’s List honoree. He also won the Moot Court Best Appellee Brief in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition. While attending law school, Oliver spent time as a law clerk at Lane Brown, LLC. His excellence in law school followed a family tradition; both his parents and twin sister are attorneys. After graduation, Oliver spent two years at another Chicago law firm, gaining experience as a litigator before re-joining the Lane Brown, LLC team in the fall of 2024.

During his time as an undergraduate at The Ohio State University, Oliver captained the University Fencing team and was a 2019 NCAA Champion. After graduation, he trained for the 2020 Olympics but fell just short of qualifying for the team.

Oliver is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyer Association, The Chicago Bar Association, and The Decalogue Society of Lawyers. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2023.
